Catarina Macedo, a Computer Engineering student at the School of Engineering was elected one of the most promising young women in the “Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe” ranking, in the “Sports & Games” category.

Catarina Macedo lives in Washington, where she is a program manager at Xbox, at Microsoft, and leads the programming and diversity initiative “Women in Gaming”. The 30-year-old from Braga thus joins the remaining seven Portuguese who are also on this list – this year with the largest Portuguese representation ever.
