Summer on Campus takes place every year in July, in Braga and Guimarães, and intends to be a learning space for young high school students, but also to foster the spirit of teamwork, and bonds of friendship and mutual trust, through various educational, recreational, and cultural activities carried out in a university environment. Students also have the opportunity to get to know the cities of Braga and Guimarães, to socialize with colleagues from different geographic regions and to learn while having fun trying out the proposed scientific, cultural and sports actions.

With a program that covers different scientific areas, non-formal education activities are promoted in the areas of architecture, mathematics, chemistry, archeology, sociology, law, education, engineering and letters.
