On 21 May, the board of the Production and Systems Department took office in the department’s meeting room. Professors Paulo Sampaio was re-elected as department director, while Nelson Costa was re-elected as deputy director.

The ceremony was attended by numerous members of the department, including teachers and administrative and management staff, as well as the President and Vice-President of the School of Engineering, Professors Pedro Arezes and António Vicente.
