Miguel Barbosa, an aerospace engineering student at UMinho, saw his life change after an accident that left him an amputee. But this drastic change in his life, which had an impact on many levels, did not discourage him or make him give up on his goals and dreams.

Miguel now leads a growing project: Football for amputees in Portugal. A movement that was born out of his own triumph and aims to open doors to those who, like him, want to continue playing, competing and feeling included in the community.
