Habilitation exams took place on 23 and 24 September at the Noble Hall of the University of Minho.
The Habilitation exams required by Ana Alice Rodrigues Pereira Baptista, Assistant Professor at the EEUM Department of Information Systems, took place on September 23 and 24 at the University of Minho Hall, Largo do Paço, Braga.
On September 23, Professor Ana Alice Baptista presented a seminar with the theme “Representation of values in Linked Data”. Following the exams, the Jury decided to approve Professor Ana Alice Rodrigues Pereira Baptista, unanimously.
The main examiners were Professors Cândida Ribeiro, from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Porto, and José Muños from the University of Murcia. The appreciation of the curriculum vitae was carried out by Professor João Álvaro Carvalho, from the Information Systems Department of the University of Minho, and Professor Nuno Guimarães, from ISCTE.
The habilitation degree is granted to professors to whom a high merit professional curriculum demonstrating relevant research activity, advanced training or supervision is recognised, along with the authorship of high quality scientific papers after obtaining a doctoral degree.
