On 25 July, -se o ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ธ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฝ ๐ฑ๐ผ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ถ๐๐ฒฬ ๐๐๐๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐๐ฒฬ๐ด๐ถ๐ฐ๐ผ ๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ถ๐๐ฎฬ๐ผ (๐๐๐ฆ), from DTx โ Digital Transformation CoLAB, at the Azurรฉm Campus of the University of Minho, brought together its team, associates and some guests, including the President of EEUM, Professor Pedro Arezes, for moments of reflection, sharing and action around the future of DTx’s technological innovation mission.
The event began in the Noble Auditorium, with speeches by Professor Pedro Arezes, Engineer Cรขndido Martins and Professor Jรบlio Viana, who reinforced the importance of strategic cooperation between academia and businesses for technological development.
This was followed by a pertinent analysis of the current and future paradigm of innovation, led by Professor Manuel Heitor, highlighting some of the conclusions of the report “๐๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ป, ๐๐ฐ๐, ๐๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐น๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ”.
The morning also featured an extensive exhibition of projects developed by DTx teams in partnership with their associates, fostering networking among all participants in the event, which continued during lunch, providing new ideas and opportunities for collaboration.
In the afternoon, Andrรฉ Matos, CEO of DTx, presented the vision for Fรกbrica do Alto, highlighting the future CoLAB facilities, as well as the Executive Board’s strategy for the ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฝ ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ป๐ผ๐น๐ผฬ๐ด๐ถ๐ฐ๐ผ ๐๐ผ๐น ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐๐ผ ๐ฑ๐ผ ๐๐ง๐ for the period 2026-2030. This ๐๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฑ was detailed by technical area by the coordinators, Ana Colim, Duarte Fernandes, Paulo Pedrosa, Ricardo Rodrigues, Ph.D., Vitor Silva and Armindo Lobo (representing Nuno M. C. da Costa).
The event closed with an essential perspective on the intersection between Geopolitics, Innovation and Defence, in a presentation by Commander Carlos Santos Fernandes that captured the attention of everyone present.
