“All words have a place in the dictionary, even the offensive ones”

José João Almeida, better known as “JJ” to everyone, Assistant Professor in the Department of Informatics at the School of Engineering at the University of Minho, has been compiling slang and idiomatic expressions from the north to the south of the country for three dozen years!

The School of Engineering congratulates Professor Jose João Almeida on this initiative and hopes that it will continue for many decades to come!
