The appointment of the new management team of the Department of Mechanical Engineering took place on 8 April at 9.30 am in the department’s meeting room.

The Dean of the School of Engineering, António Vicente, appointed Professors José Machado as Head and Nuno Peixinho as Deputy Head for the 2026–2027 term, in the presence of several lecturers from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the outgoing management team (Professors Óscar Carvalho and Pedro Marques).

The School of Engineering would like to thank the outgoing management for their commitment and dedication and congratulates the new department management, wishing them every success and achievement over the next two years.
