The IEEE -Education Society was founded in 1957 and is one of the oldest technical societies of IEEE – Advancing Technology for Humanity. It is a worldwide society of professionals dedicated to ensuring a high quality education in science and engineering. Its members involve students daily, research and propose new theories in science learning, and innovate classroom practice.
On 9 November the IEEE- Education Society announced the official results of the elections for the mandate 2021-2022. Rosa Vasconcelos, professor at the Department of the Textile Engineering of the EEUM, was appointed Vice-President for Members and Geographical Activities.
