OERN attends T-MOB HUB Annual Seminar

Leonel da Cunha e Silva, District Delegate of the Braga branch of the OE, was one of the speakers at the opening session of the TMOB-HUB ANNUAL SEMINAR, which took place on 3 July at the Noble Auditorium of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, Azurém Campus, Guimarães

The TMOB-HUB ANNUAL SEMINAR 2024 brought together experts in the field of mobility, including academics, industry professionals and members of the government.

Leonel da Cunha e Silva was part of the opening session where he discussed the present and future of mobility and the challenges associated with the constant evolution of this sector. Also present at the table were Councillor Olga Pereira from Braga City Council, Professor José Matos and the Deputy Mayor of Guimarães, Adelina Pinto.

The conference also included poster presentations and a round table, moderated by Vitor Ferreira, from the newspaper Publico, where various experts discussed future trends and technologies in the transport and mobility sector.

About the TMOB-HUB platform

The TMOB-HUB (Transportation and Mobility Research) platform combines the skills of researchers, R&D units and interface institutes at the University of Minho’s School of Engineering. It covers the five main modes of transport, including rail, metro, road, airport, sea and river, as well as their interaction. It also co-operates strongly with the main national transport players and various international partners.
