On June 26th, in the meeting room of the Department of Information Systems, the swearing-in of the department’s board for the 2026-2027 biennium took place, with Professor Rui José remaining as Department Director, and Professor Maria João Nicolau as Deputy Director.

The ceremony was attended by several members of the department, as well as members of the Department of Informatics, the former president of the School of Engineering, Professor João Monteiro and several other guests, partners of the Department of Information Systems.

The School of Engineering wishes the Department of Information Systems many successes in this new mandate.
