Margarida Correia, Master’s student in Industrial Electronics and Computer Engineering at the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, was one of the winners of the scholarship attributed by Huawei and PT. The scholarship has a value of five thousand Euros and enables the winners to focus on their studies and participate in activities or acquire equipment useful for their academic development.

From over 5,300 candidacies, 50 winners were chosen.

Under this scholarship programme, Huawei Portugal has already invested a total of half a million euros in supporting 100 higher education students in Portugal.

“I recognise the great trust placed in me, and that motivates me to use this scholarship as a competitive advantage in my affirmation in the academic and, later, professional world”, says the student from Minho.
