EEUM researcher presents lecture at IMECE international conference

Anabela Carvalho Alves, professor of the Department of Production and Systems and researcher at the ALGORITMI Center, was invited to participate as a Track Plenary Speaker in the international conference IMECE, one of the largest American conferences of the renowned American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), which took place in the week of November 11 to 14, in Salt Lake City, USA.

The EEUM researcher presented a lecture on November 11th to more than 30 participants, under the theme: “Role of Lean Education in Preparing Future Workforce: Closing the Academic and Professional Gap”, in the scope of Track 7 – Engineering Education, of this conference. Anabela Carvalho Alves is, since 2011, organizer of the topic: Curriculum Innovation, Pedagogy and Learning methodologies at the IMECE conference, of this same Track.
