The Department of Production and Systems of the School of Engineering received a visit from the consortium of the Erasmus+ project ReCap 4.0 – Reinforcing Non-University at the Tertiary Level in Engineering and Technology to Support Thailand Sustainable Smart Industry , as part of a group meeting that took place between March 25 and 28 at the School of Engineering of the University of Minho (Azurém Campus, Guimarães).
During this visit, the representatives of several European and Thai universities that are part of the project had the opportunity to learn about some of the reference projects developed at DTxCoLAB with a focus on Industry 4.0 and the development of collaborative robots (cobots).
The team had the opportunity to visit the IKEA Industry company in Paços de Ferreira, where we were kindly welcomed by Marta Morais.
During the week there were also coaching sessions for some of the project’s training modules and meetings of the project’s executive committee.
