Miguel Rocha is the new President of BioData.pt Board of Directors

The CEB researcher took office in the first BioData.pt Association All Hand, which gathered for the first time all the associates for three days full of meetings and presentations on the challenges of Portuguese science.

The election of the scientist from the Center for Biological Engineering of the School of Engineering of UMinho is a source of pride for the whole EEUM community.

BioData.pt is a non-profit association of 12 R&D organizations, including the University of Minho. By establishing a bridge between academia and industry, this infrastructure is the national distributed platform for biological data, mainly in the agro-food, forestry, maritime and health sectors.
