The position is recent and has now been created to boost the Research and Development area of the European Organization for Qualiy, with the School of Engineering, Paulo Sampaio, invited to coordinate it. The professor will now become a consultant of this organization for the R&D area, also coordinating the R&D projects under development.
The EOQ – European Organization for Quality, is an independent, non-profit association under Belgian law. Paulo Sampaio is an International Academy for Quality member, was distinguished by the American Society for Quality with the Feigenbaum Medal for his contributions in the area of Quality and was nominated for the list of the “40 New World Voices of Quality” of the magazine Quality Progress of the American Society for Quality.
