On 22 July, the Dean of the School of Engineering welcomed Professor Harish Cherukuri, Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UNCC, and Professor José Outeiro to the Azurém campus, with the aim of strengthening existing institutional collaboration and exploring new opportunities for academic and scientific cooperation.

Among other initiatives, this collaboration aims to promote joint supervision of master’s and doctoral degrees, develop innovative research projects, facilitate academic exchanges, organise events (seminars, workshops and conferences), implement innovative teaching methods and prepare scientific publications and patents.

The School of Engineering thus maintains its commitment to partnerships with leading international educational institutions that allow students and members of our academic community to explore new projects and opportunities for academic and scientific enrichment.
