The EEUM Academic Community Picnic took place on June 27. The initiative, part of the School of Engineering’s Fiftieth Anniversary Commemorative Program, aimed to bring together teachers, researchers, administrative and management staff, students and alumni for an informal get-together in the gardens of the Azurém campus.

The picnic brought together around 2 hundred people at lunchtime in the gardens of the Azurém campus, with the presence of people who work daily at the Gualtar campus (departments of Biological Engineering and Computer Engineering), providing a moment of interaction and greater proximity between the entire community in this, the 50th anniversary year of the largest School at the University of Minho, with 9 departments and 9 research centers.
