On 26 January, the members of the Consortium of Engineering Schools met in the meeting room of the EEUM Presidency. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss ongoing projects, as well as the transfer of the executive management of the School of Engineering to FCT-Nova.

Representing FEUP were Rui Calçada and Ana Paula Rocha, representing the University of Aveiro were Paulo Vila Real, from Técnico de Lisboa were Rogério Colaço, from FCT-Nova were José Júlio Alferes, and from the School of Engineering were Pedro Arezes and Lígia Rodrigues. The Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Coimbra was unable to attend the meeting.
