On 25 March, IdeaLab’s Pitch Day took place; this is the TecMinho programme that supports the development of business ideas at the University of Minho.

During the session, 13 entrepreneurial teams presented their proposals in the form of brief ‘elevator pitches’ to a panel of invited experts. This provided an opportunity to test the value of the ideas, gather critical feedback and identify opportunities for improvement and development.

Of the 13 proposals submitted, 7 involve members of the EEUM academic community, namely:

BioDress, EcoBind Solutions, Cozecare, GAE, Qiural, RIZOMA and READAPT.

The session took place in the B-Lounge at the University of Minho Library, on the Azurém Campus in Guimarães, and provided an opportunity for direct engagement with innovative projects in the fields of health, technology, sustainability, education and social innovation.
