The board of ISISE – Institute for Sustainability and Innovation in Structural Engineering – took office on 26 October at the Azurém campus of the University of Minho.

José Manuel de Sena Cruz, Associate Professor with tenure in the Civil Engineering Department of the School of Engineering, was elected director of ISISE, with Miguel Ângelo Dias Azenha, Assistant Professor with tenure in the Civil Engineering Department of the School of Engineering, as deputy director for the 2023/2026 triennium.

Several ISISE members were present at the swearing-in ceremony.

The School of Engineering congratulates the new board and wishes them every success in their term of office.
