The president of European nanosatellite launcher Orbex, Miguel Belló Mora, will be the guest speaker at the inaugural lecture of the 2025/26 academic year of the Aerospace Engineering course at the University of Minho.

The session took place on 22 October in auditorium 0.20 (building 2) on the Azurém campus in Guimarães. The event, which is free to attend, has the theme ‘Space risks and planetary protection systems’.

Miguel Belló Mora was director-general of the AIR Centre – Atlantic International Research Centre, the Spanish Space Agency, the Eureka international innovation network and the European group Deimos, among other positions. The 64-year-old Spanish engineer is currently chairman of the British-Danish nanosatellite launcher Orbex – Orbital Express Limited.
