The Summer School on Quality and Organizational Excellence took place from 14 to 16 June. This edition had Digital Quality as its theme and was co-organized by the Department of Production and Systems of the School of Engineering.

The first master class had as guests Marco Reis, from the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Coimbra, Pedro Delgado, consultant. On the first day, the participants in this summer school had the chance to visit Amorim Cork and find out more about its practices and methodologies.

On the second day, the master class was given by Sławomir Wawak, of the Process Management Department of Cracow University of Economics, in Poland. In the afternoon, the participants headed to Ovar to know KIRCHHOFF Automotive Portugal, as well as its processes.

On the last day, the master class had as guest Sheila Shaffie, co-founder of ProcessArc, from Milwaukee, USA. To close this edition, the participants spent the afternoon getting to know the historical centre of Braga and some of its most emblematic places and monuments.
