Paulo Mateus Mendes, Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial Electronics of the School of Engineering was re-elected director of CMEMS – Center for MicroElectroMechanics Systems. The management team also includes Nuno Miguel Magalhães Dourado, Associate Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and José Luís Carvalho Martins Alves, Associate Professor with Habilitation of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, as deputy directors for the triennium 2022/2025

Paulo M. Mendes graduated in 1995 and obtained a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering in 1999, both from the University of Coimbra. He obtained his PhD in Industrial Electronics from the University of Minho in 2005. He is member of the European Microwave Association, of the IEEE Propagation and Antennas Society and of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society.
