Welcoming new students

The Rectory, the Schools/Institutes and the Academic Association (AAUMinho) have prepared a welcome program for new students, so that they can get to know the University and its services, the historic center of the two cities and the academic traditions, but also participate in gatherings with graduate and exchange students, or in cultural, recreational and sports activities.

At the School of Engineering, the new students were received in the noble auditoriums of the Gualtar and Azurém campuses, by the Presidency of the School of Engineering, in a session where they had the opportunity to learn more about the infrastructures, services, events and initiatives developed for students, as well as to learn about other extra-curricular activities and teams that they may be part of, such as EPIC Junior – Junior Enterprise of EEUM, FSI – Formula Student UMinho and IEEE – University of Minho Student Branch. At the end, all new students also had the opportunity to take a group photo with their course directors.

Welcome to the largest school of the best academy in the country!
