The Program “The Best Student” at the University of Minho is an initiative aimed at students of the High School of some districts of the North of Portugal that obtained the best grades last year.

The 2019 edition took place during the Christmas holidays, between December 18 and 20, and intended to provide the best students with the opportunity to work side by side with professionals from the University of Minho.

At the School of Engineering of University of Minho welcomed 57 students that choose engineering as their first option. The students having been distributed in the areas of TICE (24 students), BIO (13 students) and INDUSTRY (20 students).
