The 1st Edition of the AEROSPACE–UMINHO Industrial Series kicked off on 25 March. This new series of Industry Lectures & Technical Deep Dives will bring some of the leading experts in the aerospace sector – from industry, research centres and government agencies – to the Azurém campus of the University of Minho’s School of Engineering.
This series of sessions aims to bring academia closer to the real challenges facing the sector, providing students, researchers and professionals with an in-depth insight into technologies, methodologies and emerging trends.
The programme for the first edition featured Eduardo Ribeiro, from Critical Software & CISUC, speaking on the topic “Continuous Compliance: Engineering Agile Systems Under DO 178C Without Compromising Safety”.
The session was open to the entire academic and professional community with an interest in aerospace engineering and related fields; attendance was free of charge and no registration was required.
The next sessions will take place on 8 and 15 April in Auditorium 0.24, Building 2, at the Azurém Campus of the University of Minho (Guimarães).
The School of Engineering invites all interested parties to take part in these opportunities for learning and sharing with leading experts in the aerospace sector.
