On 27 and 28 April the exams for Habilitation of the Assistant Professor of the School of Engineering, Anabela Pereira Tereso, in the branch of knowledge Industrial and Systems Engineering, took place. The lecturer of the School of Engineering was unanimously approved by the members of the jury.

The exams took place in the Lecture Hall of the Azurém Campus of the University of Minho, Guimarães, with Dr. Maria Madalena Teixeira Araújo, Full Professor of the Production and Systems Department of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, as President of the Jury, and Dr. Ana Paula Ferreira Dias Barbosa Póvoa as voting members, Full Professor of the Department of Engineering and Management of the Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon, PhD José Fernando da Costa Oliveira, Full Professor of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, Doctor Virgílio Cruz Machado, Full Professor of the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the New University of Lisbon, Doctor Goran Putnik, Full Professor of the Department of Production and Systems of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, Doctor Cláudio Manuel Martins Alves, Full Professor of the Department of Production and Systems of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho and Doctor Maria Conceição Constantino Portela, Full Professor of the Department of Management of the Catholic University of Portugal, Porto Centre.

The degree of habilitation is awarded to professors with a professional curriculum of high merit who demonstrate a relevant activity at the level of research, training or advanced supervision, and the authorship of scientific papers of recognised quality after obtaining a doctoral degree.
