On 5 and 6 January 2010 the exams for Habilition of Associate Professor of the School of Engineering, Graça Maria Henriques Minas, in the field of Electronic and Computer Engineering took place. The lecturer of the School of Engineering was unanimously approved by the members of the jury.

The exams took place in the Hall of Acts of the Azurém campus, having as President of the jury Dr. Estela Guerreiro Silva Bicho Erlhagen, Full Professor of the Department of Industrial Electronics of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, and as members Dr. José Alfredo Ribeiro da Silva Matos, Full Professor of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto; o Prof. João Carlos da Palma Goes, Full Professor of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the New University of Lisbon; o Prof. José Carlos Esteves Duarte Pedro, Full Professor, Department of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics, University of Aveiro; o Prof. João Pedro Estrela Rodrigues Conde, Full Professor, Department of Bioengineering, Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon; o Doutor João Luís Marques Pereira Monteiro, Full Professor of the Department of Industrial Electronics of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho; o Doutor João Luiz Afonso, Full Professor of the Department of Industrial Electronics of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho; and p Doutor José Higino Gomes Correia, Full Professor of the Department of Industrial Electronics of the School of Engineering of the University of Minho.

The degree of Habilition is attributed to professors with a professional curriculum of high merit who demonstrate a relevant activity at the level of research, training or advanced supervision, and the authorship of scientific papers of recognized quality after obtaining the doctoral degree.
