As part of the preparation of an Erasmus + Key Action 2 application – Strengthening Capacities in Higher Education, the President of the University of Minho School of Engineering, Professor João Monteiro, traveled to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, among the January 13 and 16.

During the visit the President of EEUM had the opportunity to meet with representatives of various institutions of higher education of Ho Chi Minh in particular with the Ho Chi Minh City University of Science (HCMUS), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE), Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH), Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry (HUFI), and Viet Nam National University-HCM City (VNU-HCM), to strengthen the relations of cooperation with these universities.

On January 17, the President of EEUM also had the opportunity to travel to Hanoi University of Science and Technology, where he met with some professors and leaders of this university, also in order to assess potential opportunities for collaboration and to strengthen relations between the universities.
