Organized by NEEEICUM, the 2019 Electronic Engineering Days were held from 11 to 15 February at the School of Engineering of the University of Minho.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Vice-President of EEUM, Professor Estela Bicho, the President of AAUM, Rui Oliveira, Prof. Aparício Fernandes, director of the Master’s Degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering and Computers, Prof. João Luís Afonso, director of the Industrial Electronic Engineering department, Dr. Eduardo Afonso, Human Resources Director of Aptiv as well as the President of NEEEICUM, Álvaro Castro Leite.
Over the course of a week, the programme of the days allowed participants to acquire and put into practice knowledge that enabled them to develop more skills as students and future engineers, not only technical skills, hardskills, but also softskills, such as communication and teamwork skills, organization and critical spirit.
The program also included company visits, workshops, lectures, a job fair and an Electronic Engineering marathon.
