The commemorations of the 30th anniversary of the Industrial Electronics course, currently called Integrated Masters of Industrial Electronics and Computers Engineering, took place on December 12 at the Campus of Azurém, and were attended by students, alumni, professors and former professors.
It was attended by the first director of the Industrial Electronics course and one of the founders of the Department of Industrial Electronics, Professor Emeritus Carlos Couto, who recalled the first years of the course, highlighting the innovation of the creation of Integrated Laboratories.
Additionally, followed the speeches João M. Monteiro, President of the Engineering School and also former director and founder of the course, Rosa M. Vasconcelos, President of the Pedagogical Council, Aparício Fernandes, current course director, Estela Bicho, former director of course and André Alves, President of the Students Group of Industrial Electronics and Computers Engineering. This was followed by a performance by Afonsina – Tuna de Engenharia of the University of Minho.
