Presentation and debate EEUM Strategic Plan 2023-2033

The School of Engineering, through its various sub-units, carried out a strategic definition exercise that culminated in the development of the School’s Strategic Plan for the next decade (2023-2033).

This Plan, following the planned timetable, was presented and discussed at a public session on 22 November in auditorium 0.20 on the Azurém campus, with the participation of various members of the School of Engineering’s academic community.

After a period of final revision of the document, the Chair of the School of Engineering has announced the availability of the final version of the School of Engineering’s Strategic Plan 2023-2033, which can be accessed here.

In this announcement, the Chair of the School of Engineering shared, as a summary of this exercise, one of the paragraphs contained in its preamble:

“We can only hope that the EEUM 2033 Strategic Plan merits the attention, reflection and, above all, participation of our community in particular and our stakeholders in general. Everyone’s support is essential to unite efforts and competences in the same strategic direction, so that EEUM strengthens its role and position to contribute to society and thus becomes an even more desirable place to study and work at the end of the next decade.”

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the development of this plan, which involved practically the entire EEUM community and “A particular word of appreciation to the (volunteer) group of rapporteurs who were crucial to the culmination of this process.”
