Ana Marinho, polymer engineering student at the School of Engineering of the University of Minho became National Champion in the 3000 metres, at the National Junior Outdoor Track Championships, held on 16 and 17 July, in Vagos.

Ana Marinho was the highlight for the team from Joanense (Rosa Oliveira Athletics School, Famalicão). On Saturday she was fourth in the 1500m and on Sunday she conquered the highest place on the podium (National Champion) in the 3000m, with a personal record.
