Concreta – Architecture, Construction, Design and Engineering Fair returned to Exponor between 13 and 16 October 2022, after a two-year stop. As in other editions, the Ordem dos Engenheiros – Região Norte (OERN), institutional partner of the event, invited the main institutions of Engineering Higher Education in the northern region to attend this event, where the School of Engineering was represented. EEUM had the opportunity to present its undergraduate, postgraduate and the most recent academy of UMinho – the Aliança (with the respective courses in the area of Engineering).

The event also enabled closer relations with various entities, namely Engineering companies present at the event at the invitation of the OERN, as well as a wide range of companies operating in areas related to sustainability, energy, new materials and design. Several contacts were thus established for short-term internships, dissertations in companies, job vacancies and collaboration in future events, for students and graduates in Engineering, Technology and Design.
