INOV.AM is an Additive Manufacturing Innovation mobilisation programme, made up of companies from various sectors of activity and a number of entities from the national scientific system, including UMinho’s School of Engineering, aimed at development in various areas of intervention including: new materials, advanced additive manufacturing processes, advanced post-production processes, advanced automation and control software, new products, training and human resources capacity building.

The INOV.AM conference is the first open event organised by the Additive Manufacturing innovation agenda, with the aim of presenting the processes, products and services that are under development until the end of 2025. The conference featured António Pontes, lecturer and researcher at the School of Engineering, on the panels Hybrid Moulds, Small Additive Manufacturing Systems, Large Additive Manufacturing Systems and Advanced Training in Additive Manufacturing.

This event, part of Moulds Week 2023, took place on 22 November at CENTIMFE – Marinha Grande.
