Last 28 July, the Rector of the University of Pernambuco (UPE), Professor Maria do Socorro de Mendonça Cavalcanti, and Professor Jose Roberto Cavalcanti, visited the School of Engineering, with which it already maintains a long-standing close relationship.

The delegation was received by the President of the School of Engineering, Professor Pedro Arezes, and then went on to the Department of Production and Systems for a demonstration of the research lines supported by the motorbike driving simulator (developed in partnership with Bosch), with Professor Nélson Costa, and later visited the ISISE/IB-S research centre, with Professor José Sena Cruz.

The aim of this visit was to consider new areas of collaboration between the institutions and the strengthening of the work network.
