Maria do Sameiro Soares Carvalho, Associate Professor of the Department of Production and Systems, took office on April 24.

Maria do Sameiro Soares Carvalho, Associate Professor of the Department of Production and Systems, was elected Director of this department for the 2019-2021 biennium. The management team also has Paula Ferreira, Associate Professor of DPS, as Assistant Director.

In her thank-you speech, the new director directed a special greeting to the outgoing direction: “I only hope to be in line with those who preceded us and who inspired us,” she said.
