José Creissac Campos starts his new role from January 2020
José Creissac Campos, Assistant Professor of Department of Informatics of the School of Engineering, was elected chairman of the Steering Committee of the International Engineering Interactive Computing Systems (EICS) conference.
In this new role, Creissac Campos will be responsible for the strategic vision and medium-term planning of the conference, ensuring compliance with stipulated deadlines. In addition, he will be responsible for searching and selecting candidates for the organization of the different editions of the conference, nominating the general chair of each edition, as well as the respective organizing committee.
EICS is a conference of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) that is dedicated to usable and effective interactive computer systems engineering. This annual conference focuses on tools, techniques and methods for designing and developing interactive systems, bringing together members of communities in the areas of interactive systems engineering, software engineering, requirements engineering, ubiquitous systems and game development. The next edition of EICS will take place in 2020, from 23 to 26 June, in Nice, France.
