Rui António Rodrigues Ramos, Associate Professor of the School of Engineering, and Jorge Manuel Gonçalves Branco, Assistant Professor, were re-elected, respectively, director and deputy director of the department of Civil Engineering, for the 2022-2024 biennium.

The ceremony took place on 18 October, in the meeting room of the EEUM Presidency, where several members of the Civil Engineering Department were present.

Rui António Rodrigues Ramos is, since September 2009, Associate Professor at the School of Engineering of UMinho, where he began his duties in 1993 as Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, having been Assistant Professor between 2000 and 2009. He completed his PhD in Civil Engineering, area of Spatial Planning and Management in 2000 at the University of Minho. He is author and co-author of four books, eleven book chapters and about eight dozen articles in journals and congresses, international and national.
