On 20 November, the Chair of the School of Engineering hosted Thomas Olsson and Lars Montellius from Lund University. The purpose of the meeting was to share institutional models for recognising and rewarding teaching excellence.
The meeting began with an intervention by Professor Pedro Arezes, President of the School of Engineering, who gave a brief presentation of the current model for recognising teaching excellence in force at the school, followed by a presentation by members of Lund University.
At the end of these presentations, there was room for sharing and discussing ideas/perspectives with all those involved in the meeting, which was attended by members of the Pedagogical Councils of various UOEIs, the Education Activities Support Service, IDEIA, among other members of the academic community linked to teaching at UMinho.
