“Welcome Sunset” has brought together new students from all over the world in the gardens of Azurém Campus, in Guimarães.
On September 13th, the School of Engineering of the University of Minho welcomed more than 95 Erasmus students from around 37 countries, including Colombia, Lebanon, India, Mexico, Italy, Turkey and Germany.
The welcome session was held at the Azurém Campus in Guimarães and was attended by the President of the Engineering School, João L. Monteiro, Rosa María Vasconcelos, Vice-President and Chair of the EEUM Pedagogical Council. of the EEUM Vice-President responsible for the Interaction with Society, Paulo Sampaio.
The “Welcome Sunset” program, organized by EEUM’s Office of Internationalization, was composed by moments of presentation, games and animation, including the performance of the Engineering Tunas, Tuna Afonsina and Tun’Obebes, and finished with a dinner with gastronomy of the world.
