The School of Engineering of the University of Minho (EEUM) held on February 14 and 15, the online initiative Employment Days – “Tomorrow Needs You”, which included the participation of several national and international companies presenting more than 750 career opportunities in the areas of Engineering and Design.

The initiative began on Monday the 14th, with a round table that brought together António Cunha, president of the Northern Regional Coordination and Development Commission, Mariana Carvalho, Carla Sepúlveda, Domingos Sousa and Adelina Pinto, representatives of the Barcelos, Braga, Famalicão and Guimarães municipalities, to discuss the topic “Employment, Territory and Quality of Life”, among other issues about the attractiveness of cities for companies and talent retention. In the afternoon took place the workshop “Resume Building on LinkedIn”, with Pedro Caramez, and presentations of career opportunities from BorgWarner, Continental, Grupo Casais, Primavera BSS and Sonae Arauco.

On February 15, all the participating companies were present and available to advertise their opportunities and interact with the students and alumni of the School of Engineering at the virtual stands.
