The University of Minho School of Engineering (EEUM) visited the Politehnica Timisoara University, aiming to strengthen international collaborations between the two institutions.

As part of the strategic internationalization plan, the Dean of EEUM, João L. Monteiro, and the Rector of the University of Minho, Rui Vieira de Castro, recently conducted an institutional mission visiting the Politehnica University of Timisoara, Romania.

In order to enhance existing collaborations with this university, and to explore other forms of collaboration, the visit includes meetings with the Rector of that university, Viorel-Aurel Serban, as well as visits to the faculties of Civil Engineering, Communications Sciences, Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technologies and the Institute of Renewable Energies.
